Privacy policy
Effective 2026-04-24.
This page explains what data zipradar.org collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Questions: [email protected].
The short version
- zipradar never asks you for personal information to read the site.
- Privacy-first analytics (Plausible, Cloudflare Web Analytics) collect no cookies and no personal data.
- Google AdSense and Google Analytics 4 may set cookies for advertising and measurement. In the EEA, UK, California, and similar jurisdictions, these are loaded only after consent.
- zipradar does not sell personal data. Ever.
What we collect
Nothing from you directly. There are no account signups, no forms, and no logins. If you email us, we keep your message so we can reply; see § Email below.
Site analytics. We collect anonymous page-view information (URL, device type, referrer, country) to understand which pages are useful. Two privacy-first tools run by default and set no cookies:
- Plausible — privacy-first web analytics hosted in the EU. No cookies, no cross-site tracking, no personal data. See plausible.io/privacy.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — server-side page-load timing and Core Web Vitals. No cookies, no tracking. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Advertising and measurement cookies may be set by Google AdSense and Google Analytics 4 after you consent. These are used to serve ads and measure site performance. Details: How Google uses information from sites that use our services.
Cookies
A cookie banner appears on your first visit if your IP indicates the EEA, UK, California, or another jurisdiction requiring explicit consent. Third-party advertising and measurement cookies are not set until you click Accept. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies or using your browser's Do Not Tracksetting.
Advertising
zipradar displays ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or identifiers to show ads based on prior visits to this site or other sites, in accordance with Google's partner-site policies. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info/choices.
Data we do not cache
- Personal records from the National Sex Offender Public Registry (NSOPW). We provide a deep-link to the federal search; we do not mirror or cache any registry contents.
- Owner names from deed records. Deed activity is aggregated to a zip count only; individual property-owner identities are never republished.
- Medical, financial, or biometric data. zipradar has no reason to collect these and does not.
If you email [email protected], we keep the message so we can reply and follow up if needed. Messages are stored with our email provider under their standard confidentiality terms and are not shared with third parties.
Your rights
Residents of the EEA, UK, California, and similar jurisdictions have the right to access, correct, delete, or port personal data we may hold about them. Because we do not maintain user accounts, the only personal data we typically hold is email correspondence you have initiated. Requests: [email protected], subject line [privacy].
Children
zipradar is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided information, please email us and we will delete it.
